Getting messy

Sometimes getting messy is the only way you have to become a creator of something so beautiful. Welcome to my painting session! This one is called love birds. In this painting session I used different shades of blue to give a gradient effect. In order to pull off this effect I had to start at the edges in a circular motion. I had to do the circular motion all the way to the center, until the color is light. Note for this picture I wanted to add a simple element in which is the birds, but you can add whatever element is appealing to you. For an example a class that I conducted many students used the silhouette of a couple holding hands under a tree. Just use whatever works for you. There's no set rule on the color of your silhouette either as long as it's one solid color and that it's noticable. Just remember to stay creative, have fun and paint, and if all else fails get messy!
